Shoulder fractures can result from a fall on the shoulder, a motor vehicle accident, contact sports, etc.

Clavicle Fracture (Collar bone):

Common shoulder fracture, mainly result of a fall.

Undisplaced fracture can be treated with a clavicle brace for 4-6 weeks.

Displaced fractures need to be fixed with a plate and screws as shown.

Post-operatively patients will be given an arm pouch and physiotherapy is started gradually after 4 weeks.
